TERM 1 Intro To Theatre (Mondays)

Service Description

This Intro to Theater class for grades 4-8 will cover topics such as: theater language/stage direction, the basics of movement, vocal projection, character development, scene work, and improvisational games. We will perform short scenes for our final class that parents are welcome to attend! .................................... This course is taught by Andrea DiGregorio. Andrea holds a bachelors degree in Vocal Performance and a Masters in Teaching. She came to the midwest via NYC, where she was acting in regional theaters. She then spent three years at the Round Barn Theater as a professional actor before shifting into education. She taught private voice lessons and helped with musicals at Northwood High School while earning her teaching degree. Although she has been removed from the professional circuit for many years, Andrea is excited to share her love of story telling with our students at HCA.
